Exodus 90 exists to support men like you in becoming uncommonly free.
We all come to Exodus 90 with attachments and influences that hold us back from the freedom Jesus Christ came to bring us. The pharaohs we serve and idols we worship stand in the way of becoming who we really are. They can be habits, thought patterns, wounds, or other personal challenges happening now or that happened long ago.
To begin to overcome them, we must name them and state a clear intention for making this Exodus journey. We call this intention our “why,” a particular statement that motivates us to keep going, especially as the journey becomes more challenging in a couple of weeks. A powerful why addresses the way in which we are unfree and considers who will benefit from greater freedom in our life. Indeed, there is nothing more motivating than making an Exodus with a person in mind, be that our spouse, our children, or others in our parish or local community.
A Christian vision of freedom is very different from that of the world. It’s not about doing whatever we want, whenever we want, with whomever we want. Christian freedom is for worship, sacrifice, and love. A free man takes up his life and lays it down for those he loves, as Jesus shows us on the Cross. A free man is a man for others.
Your Exodus journey has the potential to transform your life, even miraculously, for your good and for others. Love offers us the most profound force of commitment, reminding us why we are making this Exodus. Pray about your why, keep it in mind, and revisit it often by writing it down in the My Why section on the app’s Home Tab.
Through these ninety days of spiritual exercise, you will become more of who you are, a son of God who has been called forth by the Father to experience his love and to give that love to others. Be assured today of our team’s daily thoughts, prayers, and sacrifices for you and all Exodus men, and know that thousands of men are united in prayer and sacrifice for you as well.
