Sometimes things go awry and you need to change a start date. This can be done even in the midst of an exercise. You can even choose a past date like this...

Note: the following can only be done by the fraternity leader.

First qualify yourself:
A. I haven't started an exercise, but I want to set my start date for today or a future date.
B. I haven't started any exercises, but I want to set my start date for a past date.
C. I started an exercise but set it for the wrong date
D. I chose the wrong Exercise and want to cancel it and start a different one.

Once you have decided which of these best describes you, go to that section below for your steps to changing the date of your exercise.

A. I haven't started an exercise, but I want to set my start date for today or a future date.

If you haven't created an account at all yet, see this article entitled: How do I get started?

If you have created an account it is likely that you have already set your start date. If you believe Day 1 was supposed to be today. Look at the home button in the bottom left of your Exodus 90 app screen. If it has a "1" there, you are good to go. If it was supposed to be yesterday, and the home button says "2" you are good to go. This number marks the day of which day of the exercise you are on. To access your first reading, click the button on the upper portion of the screen that says "Read."

If you haven't got to what you desire to be Day 1 yet you can check to see what your start date is set for by doing the following.

  1. From the home screen click settings (the gear icon) in the upper right hand corner.
  2. In settings, under Fraternity, select "Manage [your name] fraternity."
  3. Within your fraternity select the exercise you want to check the start date for.(example: Exodus 90.) [If no exercise appears here, click the exercise tab in the bottom right corner. There you can select which exercise you want to begin. Exodus 90 is the first exercise. You will be able to set a start date from there.] [If a different exercise is active, or set to start, that you don't want to do at this time, select "cancel" on the right, to cancel that exercise. Then click the exercise tab in the bottom right corner. There you can select which exercise you want to begin. Exodus 90 is the first exercise. You will be able to set a start date from there]
  4. Once you selected the exercise in manage my fraternity, the start date currently set for this exercise will be listed below it.
  5. If the date listed is not the date you desire, enter in the date you want to start. Even past dates will work here.
  6. Click the home button in the bottom left corner.  Now you are all set. The home  button should now reflect the number day you are on.

If it was supposed to be yesterday, and the home button says "2" you are good to go. This number marks the day of which day of the exercise you are on.
