Every year, the Church celebrates the feast of the Resurrection of Christ—Easter—for fifty days. The team at Exodus has prepared an Easter program to help you celebrate this season this year.

This article is a checklist of the steps you should take as you prepare to start our Easter program this year. We will cover the best articles to read about some of the new features of the app that will help you get started this year!

Preparation Checklist

1. Begin with Prayer.

+ Lord, thank you for guiding me to Exodus today. Continue to lead me as I discern who I will invite to join me in this exercise. Help me to accept the uncommon freedom that you have prepared for me as I as deepen my relationship with as and become a Son of the Resurrection . Amen.

2. Get the App.

Be prepared for the full Exodus experience with the Exodus mobile app. Head over to create your account and learn more.

2. Start or join a local community.

An Exodus community is a large group at big parishes, cities, or counties where men will be able to connect. For further reading: “What is the Community Tab and How Should I Use It?”

2. Start or join a fraternity.

A fraternity is a small group of men that you will meet with every week. We have found that local fraternities tend to last longer and have more of an impact, so we recommend you start there. If you cannot join or start a local fraternity, use the Fraternity Finder in our app. For further reading: “Can You Connect Me to Other Men”?

3. Read these articles.

4. Consider your “Why.”

Follow the instructions to craft your why from “What’s Your Why”. Then, enter your why into the app on the encrypted “My Why” page for future reference in the exercise.

5. Have a conversation with your spouse (for married men only).

Read “The Exodus Man & His Bride” to help you prepare for this conversation! As you'll read in the article, be sure to share your why with your spouse and discuss with her the commitments of Exodus.

7. Host/Attend a Preparatory Meeting.

Welcome new men who are joining you for the Easter exercise. Invite your brothers to share their stories of freedom and explain the layout of Exodus. If this is your first exercise, use the preparatory meeting to answer your new fraternities questions about Exodus.

If you have any questions or encounter any issues as you prepare for your next Exodus exercise, please reach out to our support team, who are always happy to help!
